Since camera started for season 2010 (3th April), there has been only few visitors. Common Kestrel, Juvenile White-tailed Sea Eagles and one White Stork. Normally White Storks don't fly as north as this one.
Of course there has been hooded crows etc but we don't count them.

All the birds have flown up and gone; A lonely cloud floats leisurely by. We never tire of looking at each other - Only the mountain and I. -Li Po-
thanks for putting this up in english as when i first saw this i thought it was a white tailed eagles nest and the 2 immature eagles were last years young, well its fantastic to see an osprey return to the nest, and that white stork seems a bit lost as i didnt think you got many in finland
Wonderful, splendid! Welcome all kind of birds, summer has come!

possibly a bird thats not bred before looking for a vacant nest, where the two adults from last year rung?

Hi robbo!robbo kirjoitti:possibly a bird thats not bred before looking for a vacant nest, where the two adults from last year rung?
It is moust likely that this richtringed osprey was just passig through. It did not "glear out" at all on the nest, and did´t com back. That did tell our consultant, Matts Finnlund.
