Thank you Kornelia! The sound of the "teenager" is so lovely, isn´t it, so encouraging for the dad, which look up wery well! Great, just great!

trying to get some of "juniors" fish???

Yes, Kornelia, the junior did "sing" to dad, which is bringing the fish. At 10:32 in finnish size the is a great photo by Saru.

Thank you therefor, my dear Millan. I was so glad, to watch it.
But now my day went deep black. This lovely one died some minutes
after I found him sitting on the floor of the cage (volière). In the
morning everything seemed to be alright. He was born in 09/1997.
I'm so sad...

Greetings from empty osprey nest in Hailuoto...OH...not quite emty!

Our dear ospreyfamily has left in this order:
Female last time on the nest 14.8.
Both chicks on the nest 15.8. at 080:18. (The older chick has not been seen after that. Maby too early for migration.)
Male did bring the last huge fish 24.8.10. at 18:36. Younger chick did eat that nearly one hour.
The youngest chick left the nest 26.8. after this underlying pic.

Auf deutsch: Die Osprey- Saison ist beendet worüber ich doch etwas traurig bin. War so schön bei Euch. Danke dass ich dabei sein durfte und ich tolle Menschen hier kennenlernen durfte.
