I've done little homework and learned: Normally, two to four eggs are laid and incubated by the female only for 26-35 days.
If our GHO has laid an egg when was seen first time at the nest, so the 26 days is here - let us see, how it's go!

Hi all owl friends!
Have to tell you, had so great time in Alberta. My very first time I heard Male GHO and Female calling - and actually saw Female answering!! Amazing.
Made a 8 pics slideshow of it. There you can see, when and how Female answers; muscle movements are shown, tail feathers moving, rising.

Sorry, that no voices includes... BUT this is how it went.
Male: hu-huu-huu-huu /repeating the same/
In this point female only listened, her ears turned toward voices. After male had renewed call several times, then female started to answer.
Female: hu-huhuhuu-huhuu-huu /once/
Then female stayd listen again. And male called, and so on! When this had happened several times, male changed his call:
Male: hu,hu,hu,hu,hu So tempo was also faster.
Female: hu-huhuhu-huhuhu-huu
The situation seemed to come more intense, and then - cam offline.
